I had completely forgotten that I had even asked *saltysyrup if I could draw one of their photos, so when I started getting the urge to draw again (after like, six months...or more), I figured I should do just that.

This is my rendition of Angel Next Door by "*saltysyrup (who is amazing, IMO). Thanks VERY much for letting me use one of your beautiful works.

As usual, I'm posting this a bit before it'submitted in [eep] March. I had a LOT of trouble making this look decent on my computer since my scanner sucks, but I don't want to change anything on the hard copy because it does NOT look like that IRL. I had a fun (ha-ha) time with the nose wrinkles, but the face paint was quite enjoyable.

Anyway, I'll submit any changes I make to the original. Tell me what you think.

[EDIT: Updated the image on December 11th at 5:40pm; I refined the mouth area a little more...what you see now is pretty much the finished image. I usually continue to make little tiny adjustments, but I probably won't upload small things. Hope it looks better now.]

There is a nice diffuse tonality going on in Dream Girl by ~Black-Rose-Immortal and I personally like the levels of contrast. (Featured by `zeruch)

from the bridge of the nose and up i might have mistaken if for a photo at first glance. i think the teeth are probably the weakest part, but i'm really not once to judge.

overall, it's just wonderful. i love it, and great chocie of pic.

Yeah, there are a few parts that need work. But that will come later, when my eyes can see again. Too much for one night. :(

Wow, im rendered speechless. fantastic work. I particularily like the title to be honest. Critics be damned, it looks damned good. Teeth have a cool look to them, and her facial expression makes the whole thing damned hot. I think the only thing I would do different (and this is PURELY a difference in opinion, Im not saying its wrong) is that i would make the cigarette stand out contrast wise from the teeth. other than that, id say its a damn good drawing.
