What the---?! New work from Black-Rose-Immortal?! Yeah, that's right, it's about damn time, I know. Being at university makes it relatively hard to draw since I a) have no time and b) have no art supplies. The two combined make it extremely difficult .

Anywho, guess who THAT is. Seriously though, if you don't know who that is you're either new, blind, or I'm a terrible, terrible "artist". I shouldn't even have to tell you who that is, but I have to give credit to =larafairie for letting me use her beautiful photograph. And yes, I got permission to use it since everyone is becoming extremely concerned with that sort of thing.

Now, as for the details...this was done on Bristol with Derwent drawing pencils (as usual ). I'm not entirely sure how long this took since I started before I left for school and finished it just now, since I'm home for -Canadian- Thanksgiving. Those of you who are already familiar with me and my work will know that this will probably be resubmitted a billion times since I get mad at my work and try to make it better. I don't know WHEN I'll get around to fixing it, but it'll likely happen.

Anywho, I've decided I hate beads. The beads were a major reason why I chose to do this picture over all her other pictures, and they were HELL for some reason. I don't even know why, they shouldn't have been that difficult. Either way, I tried something new and found out that I sucked at it. You live, you learn, I might be better at it next time, assuming there is a next time. I spent a lot of time doing the eyes over and over since Lara has incredibly recognizable and beautiful eyes...I can't very well mess those up, can I? I knew that if there was one part of this drawing that absolutely needed to be done right it was those eyes. I had the usual scanning difficulties that make this look crappier here than it does in real life, but there's nothing I can do, so use your imagination...?
